Rules

Internal Rules  Gîtes Les Nogalies, Lieut Dit Les Bories, 24290 Valojoulx

A settlement is never fun, but it's for the greater good.

Eco-Gestures: Water is life: the water that comes out of the taps is drinkable, it's precious, let's save it. 

Household waste: In Valojoulx, we carry out selective sorting. Each gîte is has 3 bins (household waste, glass and recyclables) and rubbish bags.

Residual waste: All waste that is not recyclable must be deposited in black bags in the bins provided for household waste.

Recyclables: cardboard - plastic - food bricks, metal, and paper - newspapers will be deposited in bulk in the yellow terminal. A container for glass is also available. 

The waste deposit is on the road leading to Montignac at the exit of the hamlet Les Bories.

As the gîtes are not far from a forest, the use of the barbecue is subject to the owner's approval and may be prohibited in case of bad weather conditions. It is absolutely forbidden to light an open fire anywhere on the property and its surroundings. - Under no circumstances may the tenant take wood from the forest to burn on the barbecue. No paper or rubbish of any kind may be left in the forest or on the property.

Heating management with reversible air-conditioning: Even if heating and air-conditioning are included in the price, we invite you to behave in a reasoned way. You have a temperature of 21 ° max in winter and 24 mini in summer. You have the possibility to regulate these temperatures by means of thermostats. Please do not leave the gîte with the windows open and the heating or air conditioning on. It is strictly forbidden to use auxiliary heaters for ecological, safety and overconsumption reasons. If we notice an overconsumption you will be billed 7 € per day

In order to respect the recommendations of Atout France Label in terms of respect for the environment, a list of eco gestures is at your disposal in the Gite.

Noise : The first and most important rule is that of common sense regarding the respect of others. Rest and tranquility are a priority. Do not do anything that by your own doing or because of your family or your relations, can harm the tranquility of the neighborhood, avoiding excessive noise or any other nuisance, especially in the evening. Parents should encourage their children not to be too boisterous in their play, so as not to disturb the peace and quiet of the other occupants... Silence must be maintained between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m.

Dogs: Only small dogs are accepted in the gites

Smokers: Smokers are kindly asked not to smoke inside the gîtes. The following tenants would probably not appreciate the smell of smoke impregnating the premises (fabrics, etc.). Ashtrays are available on the terraces.

WC: Apart from toilet paper, nothing else should be thrown in the toilet bowl. The use of detergents such as bleach is forbidden. Tenants must absolutely refrain from throwing objects into the washbasins, showers, sinks and toilets that could block the drains. Otherwise, they will be liable for the costs incurred to repair these appliances and the septic pump.

The layout: It has been designed for optimum use for the duration and quality of the accommodation; also, bedding, furniture and miscellaneous objects should not be transported outside the accommodation.

Documentation on the region is available in each gîte, in French, English and Spanish. Books and board games are the property of Les Nogalies.

Damages: If necessary, report it during your stay. Immediately inform the owner of any damage and deterioration occurring in the rented premises, even if no apparent damage results. In the event of loss or damage caused by the tenant, the amount of the deposit will be reduced by the cost of repair or replacement upon presentation of proof by the owner.

Parking: Vehicles must be parked in the spaces provided for this purpose and under no circumstances should they be parked in front of the gîtes.

Keys : The entrance doors of each gîte are fitted with key locks. When leaving the gîte, you are required to lock the premises. In the event of non-compliance with this article, you are responsible for any theft, damage or other material damage which will be invoiced. For all objects belonging to you, you will have to make your own declaration to your insurance and the gîte declines all responsibility in this case.

Garden furniture : Outdoor tables, chairs, parasols, deckchairs are at your disposal, please keep them in good condition.

The maintenance of the grounds of the lodging: In period of mowing, we will be brought to intervene during your stay, idem for the watering of the flowers. We will take care to be as discreet as possible in order to respect your privacy.

At the time of your departure, even if the housework is included in the rent, you are obliged to ensure a minimum maintenance before your departure. We ask you to put your rental in order, the furniture in its place and in particular the kitchen area: dishes clean and tidy in the cupboards, trash cans and ashtrays emptied, towels put in the shower. The cupboards and fridge will be emptied of all remaining food. The BBQ grill clean.

Use of the Spa: The use of the Spa is subject to acceptance of the specific Spa regulations which will be given to you on arrival.


CANCELLATION POLICY


For bookings made via the websites of booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, cancellation must be made via these websites. The cancellation conditions that apply are then specific to these platforms and may therefore be different from those of the Gîtes Les Nogalies. For bookings made by mail, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the cancellation period, in accordance with article L121-20-4 of the consumer code relating in particular to the provision of accommodation services provided on a specific date or according to a specific periodicity. Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter. Normally according to article 1590 of the Civil Code, if the tenant cancels, the FULL deposit remains acquired by the Homeowner.

However, IN OUR CASE, 

If the Tenant cancels more than 60 days before the beginning of the stay: The Homeowner refunds 100% of the deposit.

If the Tenant cancels between 59 and 30 days before the beginning of the stay: The Homeowner will retain 50% of the deposit paid at the time of booking. They will be valid for the next stay within one year from the initial date of arrival. If the property could be re-let for the same period, the refund will be 100% of the deposit.

If the tenant cancels between the 29th and 8 day before his arrival, the deposit paid at the time of booking will be fully retained by the owner. They will be valid for the next stay within one year from the initial date of arrival. If the property could be re-let for the same period, the Homeowner will reimburse 100% of the deposit.

If the tenant cancels between 7 days and the day before his arrival, the deposit paid at the time of booking will be fully retained by the owner.

In case of no show of the Tenant, there will be no refund.

In case of early interruption of stay by the Tenant, not due to force majeure, no refund will be made.

The case of force majeure is recognized if the Tenant can justify serious reasons making it impossible to carry out the entire rental. In this case, the owner can proceed to the restitution of the sums already paid, corresponding to the pro rata of the duration of occupation not carried out, and on presentation of supporting documents.

CANCELLATION BY THE HOMEOWNER The Homeowner shall refund the Tenant twice the amount of the deposit received. This not applies in case of force majeure.

The Homeowner recommends that the Tenant takes out "cancellation" insurance. The Homeowner recommends the Tenant to check whether his Civil Liability insurance includes holiday insurance.
